  Absolute Data Group is inviting submission of presentation topics for DefDoc08.

Presentation subjects and case studies that are of interest include, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Simplified Technical English
  • Conversion of legacy data to S1000D
  • Implementation of S1000D projects - The practical view
  • Adaptation of S1000D outside of Defence
  • Integration with legacy systems
  • Business Rules - Defence requirements
  • Required training for technical authors
  • Interaction between ILS and IETM systems
  • IT Hardware / Software Requirements, Now and Beyond
   
 
Deadline
Individuals or organisations interested in presenting at DefDoc08 should submit their ideas to the Conference Manager by 18 April 2008.

Format

As DefDoc08 has a target audience specific to your industry, it is a great forum to share your knowledge and expertise with a high calibre audience.

It is best submit proposals well in advance of the deadline, however, we will still review proposals submitted after 28 March in case any relevant openings become available.

To present a conference session or deliver a tutorial, please submit the following by 28 March 2008:

  • a session abstract of not more than 150 words
  • a speaker biography of not more than 50 words
  • a photograph (if available) for use on DefDoc website and in the main conference program.

Please note that all conference sessions must focus on technologies and industry experience, we do not accept sales pitches or marketing presentations.
A Vendor presentation session is available for this type of pitch.
